GT4: What is the very fastest/best car

In GT3 it was that Pikes Peak Escudo? jobby that you could actually get airborne on flat ground if i remember correctly!

Is there a similar car in GT4 or are the Polyphony cars the be all and end all?

The Pikes Peak Suzuki Vitara thingy is in the game again - I think. I'm pretty sure that its a winable car in the Special Conditions section.

I dont find the Polyphony Digital F1 car that great - much prefer the Audi R8, Mazda RX7 LM Race car and the Motul 350Z Race Car....

It may not be the fastest, but since finding the ridiculous Chapparal 2J - I've got a real soft spot for it. Completed all the Champs & races I could, managed to get 271 down the mulsanne - but since checking it's top speed on the test circuit, it's now down by about 60bhp, and can't get anywhere near 285 anymore... I'll just have to get another one

The three gears that things has freaked me out! Great car though. Won the last challenge under professional races with it (can't remember what it's called). The only thing that annoyed me is it seems slow to pick up from a standstill in first gear. Once you get going it's great though - especially with 1000BHP and NOS!

Fiddling with the gears on the standard Cadillac Cien got me to 280mph on the test course and i'm sure there must be faster cars than that.

I now that one of the Rear engine rear wheel drive RUF cars i had in GT3 had 1099BHP turned off the tracking control and it would beat the pikes thing on the 400/1000meters tests as it had great traction and would go over 400KPH. I'm trying to save up and spend loads of cash on one but having great fun trying to do the small races.

perscarlo playstation judd car i find is a lot lot better on the 'ring than the Audi A8 - handles a lot better and i prefer it
