Thundercars has finally been released for GPL...

There was a Beta release around xmas, but it seemed to be the same physics as GPL, but with different models. Now the cars feel very different from their GPL counterparts, they're now heavier, faster and a bit more of a handful to drive. Anyway, you can download it here:

And you'll need the latest +GEM updates

[sarcasm]
Its about time they made that game challenging, it is way too easy in its standard form.

Got this already, I had the beta version too and it did have different physics to the 67's You just had to select the right physics and carset together.

Yup.

Just installed it - they could at least have made an effort in setting the cars up beforehand - all the gear ratios are useless!
I think I'll wait until I get a controller before I play you guys online though - as GPL won't let me map any buttons except for the keypad I'm using 7+4 for power/brake, 2+3 for steering and - + + for the gears (no I'm not using a clutch atm).

Possibly...

OK, car is now setup I can get it to go round corners (sideways), but strangely going in a straight line is beyond my skills at the moment!

I really should wait until I order my controller but it's too much fun.
