We've had a thread on the tracks everybody hates, but I can't recall seeing one on the tracks we all love.

I'll start the ball rolling with Le Mans. I know the 'Ring is stupidly challenging, but there's just something about LM that makes me drive it over and over again. I must have done over 100 laps of the place now, with and without chicanes.

I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of votes for the 'Ring in this

I would say the ring...

But part of me cant help but love Le Mans, I havent driven it anywhere near enough yet, but as mungo says, it reminds me of what is usually the best weekend of the year.

So either the nurburgring, or Le Mans (with chicanes, without chicanes was before my time, so I hold no emotional link with that area of the track sans chicanes.)

I love how accurate Le Mans is. The way you have to come across the track on an adverse camber to get the car stopped for Mulsanne is awesome. The run from Arnage to the Porsche Curves looks stupidly realistic, especially on replay. I prefer the version with chicanes. I get bored sitting there for 30-odd seconds going in a straight line. I imagine with an FF wheel it's a bit more entertaining

I like the Ring and Le Mans, but I think I have more FUN on the Infineon raceway

The 'Ring obviously but Tokyo R246 and Autumn Mini Ring also do it for me.

Midfield Raceway is also worth a look, especially when the F1 cars come out to play.

Well, the 'Ring haven't tried LeMans yet.

Seattle is one of my favs, the full Autumn Ring is nice and El Capitan is a bit of a challenge, i'm still not sure how to take most of the corners

EDIT missed an 'n'

My favourite is probably Cote D'azur. I also quite like Midfield and Citta Di aria because it is very challenging to put in a perfect lap but relatively short. Unlike the 'ring which I find frustrating because its easy to arse up the whole lap early on then you have to wait another 5-6mins before you can start a new lap and try again.

El Capitan. Short enough to learn quickly, challenging enough to make a perfect lap so difficult.

I go with El Capitan too, perfect for my virtual test drives, and the right amount of different corners and hilly bits (for want of a better phrase) to make for some cool drifting action.

La Sarthe I & La Sarthe II for me...love the run down from Mulsanne to Arnarge. Two lanes, two hundred mph

I think the person who put Le Mans track on the game deserves a medal. Seems exactly the same as when i drove the Chim around it in 2002.
Also love Suzuka as i loved it on Ferrari 355 Challenge.
Cote D'azure is also a personal favourite and Infinion Raceway is a great new addition too.
Stearing wheel adds a bit more involvment to the game.
Fantastic.

Glad I'm not the only one - the amount of times I've stopped to take piccies of various cars outside the bar Also stop just before 1st chicane to get photo by the chinese restaurant - The Chapparal 2J looks quite good..

The 'Ring and Le Sarthe are great but for playability the snow covered tracks are fantastic in a snow tyred Impreza/Evo. Oversteer controlled with the variable throttle of the Pro wheel.....

The rally stages are the only ones that get me hot around the collar. I was physically sweating after one particular race. Mind you I did have a helmet on at the time...

The 'Ring! Then La Sarthe I and La Sarthe II. I hate Hong Kong and El Capitan though. And my favourite city course is Seoul Central because it is so quick and easy.

'Ring is superb and such a challenge. Haven't tried the Sarthe yet.

I always have liked Midfield (record is a 52 second lap)
