PS2 games from the USA

I am going to Florida in the near future and was wondering if the PS2 games you buy over there will work over here on a PS2 (slimline) bought in the UK.

Nope.

US is NTSC and UK is PAL

There is a way, by downloading a 'swap disc' file off the internet, burning it onto a DVD and also opening up your PS2 and altering some pieces of plastic.

Not many people want to do this as it's too much hassle.

Of course... you could just buy a NTSC PS2 when you're there Don't forget you need a transformer!
