hmm, let me guess, Toca RD3 will fall into the trap that Toca RD2 did of having so many different options/cars that non were simulated particulary well. The trucks / rally cars / wildcats... all sucked.

I started to replay it t'other day and got to the compulsary rally stages and simply stopped and un-installed it such was my disgust at the "handling" of the rally cars.

What people really want on the PC isn't something which says "you will race this car for three laps" but "I want to buy this car, modify it, tweak it, play with the settings and enter it into a race I want. I want to take said tweaked car and race online against opponents. I want to show the world what I have created." - look at the explosion GT4 is having because it offers exactly that, similiary Need For Speed Underground 2 got great acclaim because it allowed people to show their creations off.

I've bought/played all the Toca's from the outset and I must I have no plans at all to buy into the latest.

Was playing TOCA racer driver 2 a couple of weeks ago and did enjoy most elements. However....

Codemasters make Colin McRae series - why is the race driver rally simulation so different(ie rubbish).

If licencing allows please bring back Knockhill.
