GAME stores 99p deal

Has anyone here bought a new game in one of the GAME stores by trading in 4 old games and only paying 99p?

I just looked on their site but couldn't find any T&Cs regarding what games are and aren't allowed.

Will they accept pre-owned games bought from their own stores?

I got my copy of GT4 from the Canary Wharf branch for NINETY NINE PENCE!

I traded four pretty ordinary games which I hadn't played for ages. The girl behind the counter said "no football or wrestling games" but that's it.

Check this out. I got GT:4 and have been back since and traded some of my son's GBA games, and got Battle for Hill 30 for 99p too. As you say, no Footie or Wrestling games.

I was going to trade 4 on Ebay, then found out about this. GT4 for a nugget! Job's a goodun.

As stated above, I believe you can't trade sports games (ie, Fifa 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004!)

is it any 4 games (excluding football and wrestling)for any console (PC, PS2, Xbox etc) for absolutely any game in the store for 99p?

Whens the offer end and is it in all GAMEs?

No end date posted at my nearest store, and apparently it is nationwide.

from memory last time they ran the offer slightly into the school easter holidays.

Did any of you trade in any games which had 'preowned' stickers on them? I've got a few games I bought on the cheap for a few quid before which I fancy trading in for either GT4 or Brother in Arms, but I am doubtful as to whether they'd accept them.

Shouldn't matter they do say any game.

I exchanged 8 xbox games for 2 new games yesterday.

Unfortunatly the offer is limited to the chart titles. Which is weird as most over titles are cheaper.

The offer runs until 6th April at my store. Which means I won't be able to get forza motorsport on the deal.
