Not that this would be EXACTLY the self-imposed limit that Japanese manufacturers put on the maximum power output of cars....oh no...
...between you me and the gatepost, a modern NSX is supposed to have 350 or more. The R is supposed to be closer to 370 and small changes to engine management can see this to 400 or more..... but you didnt see me right?
Given that the NSX runs a 3.2 and knowing how good Honda are at getting incredible naturally aspirated specific outputs, I wouldn't be at all suprised if it was putting out way more power than it claims. I'd guess a good 100-110bhp per litre, which would put it at 320-350bhp... that would help explain why it was so quick, along with the fact it weighs a fair amount less than the 4wd lambos...
