Hi Guys,

Im stumped with this one - there's a length restriction of 3400mm - my Elise is too long, the new MINI is too long, I couldn't find an old Mini and I thought i'd cracked it when I found the Caterham Fireblade but it is apparently classed as a 'special' vehicle. Sadly I only found this out after I had already bought it and spent thousands tuning it!

So, what car can I buy that will a)meet the length restriction and b)be fast enough to win?

Cheers!

An uprated second hand Honda Beat. Sounds like a hairdryer but it can be plenty fast enough to win.

Deffo Honda Beat is good for this race!

A quick tip when buying cars for events with limitations - on the screen after you click 'Buy' you can see all the cars specifications (including length, weight, etc). You can always cancel from this screen without buying!

It is a bit annoying with the limitation of 'special' cars that you can't see are special before trying. Not sure if that limitation only applies to the beginners races though.

Yeah that screen is very useful - but as you say, doesnt mention special limitations.

Why not use the Autobianchi that you win from the first race. Stage two turbo 120ish hp plus nitro I was wining the races with five/six second lead

You kidin' right!

Bought a coffee thingy suppped it up and won with ease. even made the mistake of going wide on the last turn of the last race and into the pits on lap one and still won by 5 secs!

One of the lightweight series, the Clio V6 is short enough to take part (by about 5mm!). Tuned one up to about 350bhp and annihilated all the little Beats

Good, glad to see that it wasnt just me then. I was getting worried that I am some sort of wierdo who tunes up crap cars without looking at which are best...

I used a tuned Honda Beat in the end. Sadly I sold the Autobianchi as soon as I acquired it.
