Oil change

In GT3 it was rumoured that if you bought a new car and the very first thing you did was oil change and wash you could tune to a higher bhp.

Is this true for GT4? or is all just myth?

Certainly with the used cars an oil change gives you a couple of bhp...

i have tried this and didnt notice any difference in hp, so i dont think it works anymore

I got an extra 50bhp form an oil change in a second-hand R33. The amount of change it gives varies, but its worth it for the cost.

The power gradually goes down as you use it. Hence an oil change brings it back up to what it should be.
