I know that people play GT4 differently but I just cant bring myself to use B-Spec mode. I tried it last night and won a race but I ended up redoing it in A-Spec mode anyway just so I know I did it "properly"

I dont think that people who use B-Spec are not playing it properly, its up to them how they play but using B-Spec mode instead of driving it myself just made me feel dirty

Is it just me? Am I odd? or does anyone else feel the same?

I like to use B-spec, put on some glasses, draw on a beard and pretend I'm Ross Brawn.....but that's just me

EDIT >> I did a lot of the races twice, once in A-Spec and once in B-Spec to 1. do the race properly, and 2. build up my B-Spec for the reason stated below.

Well Chief(I managed to say this Cockneyish saying and it fits with the name too ), it up to you of course but when you are doing the endurance races (24hr 'Ring, Le Mans etc.) you may want your "other driver" to take over. As his skill is crappy at the start of the game he needs practice so he's not driving like a complete numpty in your Bently Speed 8 in the last hour of a long race.

i like to use it on races i cant be bothered to do. but ive noticed something, it makes repetitive mistakes. on the hong kong track it would make the same mistake every 2nd lap, go through the same procedure to get back on track and lose me the race, even if it was 20seconds in the lead...

Mke him more cautious on thoe bits of the track where they come off..
I found B-spec v.useful for repeating races I'd already won to earn money for the car for the next set of races...plus I may try doing the endurance races in B-spec mangement mode (Think the European 1000 mile is the first one )....25 laps of the ring in one sitting anyone in a pre 1971 car?...approx 3.5 hours of real time or 70 minutes if you engage 3x speed...

Now got 3300 B-spec points so my driver can actually get round the ring whilst pushing it without crashing... just needs to pit in every lap for new tyre
