In GT4 does any else using the left analogue stick to control the car and the right analogue stick for accelerator / brake notice that the left stick still controls accelerator / braking, which means that if u dont move the controller exactly right or left u can accelerate or apply brakes!!!

This is very annoying. I have checked the controllers and it says that steering and throttle are both on left analogue stick and doesnt give the option to use the right analogue stick for throttle / brake only steering.

I first noticed when watching a replay on a licence test and noticed that the brakes lights came on during cornering round a flat out corner.

This is 1 of many small annoying bugs that are ruining a game I waited ages on!

That and the fact that all the cars that I have tried so far understeer very badly, including a 424bhp tuned T350C!!!

Cheers

Stuart

Just worked this out myself (after trying to teach myself to use right stick to steer and left for acc/brake). Tell it you want accelerator and brake set to none in the options and steering on the left stick. You can still use the right stick for accelerator and brake! Stupid but it works.

Yep had the same problem. But basically switched it off one day, started the next and low and behold didnt think - right analog worked a treat....

Not the faintest what I did, but it worked!!!

Thanks for that,

For a game that has taken so long to be released it does still feel like it has been rushed out.

It has lots of little niggles that probably do have work arounds but still shouldn't be in there!

Thanks again,
