GTR - Online?

I am going to mosey down to the shops tomorrow to purcahse a copy of GTR... any of the usual GPL bunch or infact anybody else fancy trying it out online at any point over the weekend? We need to see how many racers we can get on a privately hosted server

My Ati 9800 Pro 128MB seems to run it fine, but that's nearly 2 years old! So any half decent modern graphics card should be fine.

erm... I haven't got the game yet but how do we meet up "virtually" to do the race? Is there a chat room thingy built into the game or do we need to coordinate it through IRC somehow?

There is a multiplayer screen with chat I think - might be better to just go to our normal VROC room and co-ordinate it from there using ip addresses

Yes they did, but it also was apparent that the latest (most epensive) was not much better than my current, so I've stuck with my Radeon 9200, seems to work well.

can't connect with the 'semi pro' racing, prefer the arcade stuff

Hi guy's,

As I am still wating for my wheel to turn up the only sensible one to play is 'Arcade' (as I don't posses enough fingers to be able to brake, down change & turn at the same time!!) - how can I increase the length of the race from 3 minutes to something a bit longer??

I have a Nvida 256Mb 5700 and run Gtr with most things turned upto high. when their are loads of cars on track it does suffer alittle but its a gret game.
Just want to download the 24hour race, but the website says german mode only.

Isn't the Proximus 24hr update already on your version?

Do you have Spa Dawn, Dusk & Night versions and cars like the Gilette Vertigo?

Plus NVidia have new drivers out as of yesterday 71.xx I've installed them and I think they work even better than the last ones.

A - accelerate
Z - brake
< - left
> right

ALT - change down
space - change up

use your thumbs for changing gear

not sure how to make the races longer... I'm going to go and drive now (not loaded it up yet).
