I am getting my GT4 copy tomorrow - and can't wait !

But it has got me looking ionto getting a wheel and pedal set up and every one seems to point to the new logitech pro wheel for approx £120
But was also wondering about going a step further and getting something like this :-

www.gameracer.co.uk

Has anyone got something similar, do they make the experiance even better ?

Try ConsolePlus - £82.90 plus £5.90 delivery. I got mine from there ... highly recommended.

That looks great, but a bit expensive. Toysrus (yes, really!) are doing a Playseat for £180 (I've seen the same one elsewhere for £200). Bit tempted

Doesn't that gameracer.co.uk seat include the Logitech wheel?

If so, a much better deal than ToysRus.

I'm really tempted to get something like that! Man, I need a games room

Smart that playseat seems like the ticket... but does not look as strong as the gameracer one.... But still toppy seeing as you can get a proper bucket seat from ebay for £50 - might try and make one .....

Anyone know somewhere that has Driving Force Pro wheels cheap and in stock? Everywhere seems to be out! I'm hoping to have GT4 at home waiting for me and I don't want to have to spent weeks playing with a pad while I wait for them coming in stock.

There is nowhere near me that I could get to buy on in person. Or at least that I could get to before closing after work...

have you considered the driving force? its a good 40 quid cheaper and the only thing you will lose out on is the 900 degree turning

I hadn't realised, but Logitech are now selling the Playseat: Logitech, So it's not a Toyrus special, so that makes it more attractive (Logitech are selling it for £199 plus £17.50 shipping!)

Playseat's website ... think this might be taking it a bit far though ...

I've tried Ebay, but there are none in the UK. I thought they'd have been loads.

And I've considered other wheels, but I reckon I'd be better off getting the pro. I know what I'm like...I'd get the regular one and keep pining for the pro. A month later I'd end up buying the pro anyway. So, you see...I'm saving money by buying the most expensive one

I've got one of those Gameracers (the one with the rally bucket seat)
The steering wheel is extra.
I considered all the alternatives before buying it, and whilst not the cheapest, it's very well made and rigidly supports the wheel/pedals.
It really enhances the gaming experience and is heaps better than trying to balance/grip the wheel with your knees.

The basic price doesn't include a wheel.

It really does enhance the gaming experience and is heaps better than trying to balance/grip the wheel between your legs.
Highly recommended.

I think i might go for it, if you order from europe you can get seat and pro wheel for eur 324 which at current exchange rate works out to about £220 !! But delivery on top might be a bit deer but worth looking into....
