If they can do this, then it's very promising for more.

www.m4driving.it/files/2129.html - all parts (still being uploaded, 3 so far, not sure if more )

Ok, it might only be Formula Renault but it's a start.

Would be nice if someone could do the Tuscan Challenge cars! - that would be fun !

Mental note - Must get a copy of GTR and a wheel!

also, for GTR drivers.. are laps actually slower with the aids on? or are they likely to be just as fast as a really good lap with aids off?

I first tried all the cars with traction control high just to get used to them and the circuits. Now I have it set to low, apparantly a real GT driver has doen this too as he says because you don't get the feel for the throttle and brakes through your pedals it's actually harder to drive the GTR cars with the TC off completely. Setting it to low means you will spin if you give it too much out of a slow corner but it's handling elsewhere is more akin to the real thing. Unless of course you have FF pedals

now that IS reassuring! I thought I was beeing really crap not being able to do a half-decent lap with the aids off... but now I realise I'm only moderately crap!

on another note, EDGE this month gave GT4 7/10, and GTR 8/10 !!! I'm amazed that a gaming mag recognised it's greatness.. and didn't preach on about playability.. but they really seemed to "get" it!

Great publicity for the SimBin team.. which they rightly deserve!

Updated better physics for the Formula Renaults, extract the zip into the Formula Renault folder to overwrite the current set. now uses the Elise engine sound.

To see wheel in the cockpit mode you need to edit your PLR file in the userdata folder as below.

find the line:
Wheels Visible In Cockpit="0" and change the "0" to "1"

Change it back when you use the GT's or you will get the wheels in the cockpit
