For all those *still* playing OFP like me I've just played one of the best missions created . It's called Compromised by TJ and is available from www.theavonlady.org/theofpfaq/ Go to M.O.M, select XML format and it's about half way down.

It's just such an unusual mission.

And Codemasters or whoever's developing OFP2 get the finger out, I can't wait til 2006

Its an AWESOME game just recreated a beach landing using the mission editor. The game is soo realistic that when a high ranking U.S army official played it, he asked the British company to make a version for the U.S Army for training.
I would recommend getting the gold version with, all 3 games; Cold war crisis, Red Hammer and Resistance only £10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a cool link thanks BB, I'd been going there through the avonlady's page direct to the downloads.

Really looking forward to OFP2, wonder if this man can give us some inside info...he knows who he is

It' weird knowing that I am in millions of computers!! Some may say that we have not exploited the Flashpoint brand, that we have not given the customers what they want. However we realise what we have and anything we do has to be very special. So whilst we are obviously working on things you are unlikely to see a sequel very soon.

I concur Bruce, it's possible that OFP was ahead of it's time which would make a follow-up even more of a challenge. I certainly just wouldn't like to see a sequel just with updated graphics. There will be a tremendous amount of attention on the sequel and if it doesn't measure up you'll get slaughtered.

Good luck, any chance of a follow-up to 1nsane, that was fantastic fun.

I love the game, Im just useless at it. Ive just got to a bit where im a civilain but captured by the russians and can choose between squeeling on the man hidden in the shed, or taking a lunge at running..

I ran and got shot.

its the best.

What makes a game is not necessary A1 Graphics but its the AI. The ai is much better then almost all other games of this sort even though its now a few years old.

I know the mission you're on; if you haven't finished it yet, here's a clue, you need to get tooled up... the views are nicer round the back of the house
