PS2 Driving games

Ok. Finally got round to picking up a PS2. Bought it with San Andreas. Great game

this month's evo came with a demo of WRC4 and i've realised how much driving games appeal to me... being a petrolhead and all.

Knowing sweet all about the PS2 games out at the moment, what is THE best driving game.

Don't want an F1 game.

You got that right

Either wait (and wait, and wait... Link ) for Gran Turismo 4 or buy GT3. I don't think I know anyone who saya this isn't the best driving game for the PS2.

I was gonna say GT3 or wait and get GT4 but just checking

Apart from GT3 and GT4 (come March), try out the following:

TOCA Race Driver 2 - good size grids, nice damage, tidy handling, good cicuit racing, but crap rally stages.

Colin McRae 2005 - lots of cars, lots of stages, good fun arcade handling.

Richard Burns Rally - Not many cars, not many tracks, but by far and away the best rally sim out.

Burnout 3 - Pure arcade racer that gives you boost for causing crashes (how un-pc, what fun).

WRC4 is not bad (got the same Evo demo) but personally would go for CM2005 or RBR.
