GT4 Release date news!

Sorry guys, it's bad news, not good news!

Received this earlier today.

"The release date for Gran Turismo 4 for PlayStation 2 has been moved to 16 March 2005 due to logistical reasons. GT4 will be available from all the normal retail outlets, at the suggested retail price of £39.99"

So, another two months to wait then!

Well the Japanese version had many many issues, to be honest I'd welcome the extra couple of months IF they're spending the time sorting the problems out.

If Sony are cynically postponing the release until Easter time (when sales go up by 10%) while they all sit on beach drinking cocktails, they can shove their game up their....

That's been known for ages. Porsche and Ferrari have computer game deals elsewhere, so the rights to have them in the GT4 game were no.

16th is a wednesday, games in the UK are usually a friday. SCEE has told me the release date is confirmed as 11th March.

where have people pre-ordered it from??? I was going to pre-order it soon. Amazon is looking good @ £29.99.

Anywhere any cheaper? I've checked the usual suspects.

edit - www.simplygames.com has it for £28.89 delivered.

I can't get over the range of "release dates" for this! Is 11th the current official date?

The last time I went on my PS2 was sometime around the beginning of October I think. I have lost in all interest in all my games apart from GT3. And GT3 has now got a huge scratch on. I can't sell my PS2 either because it sometimes doesn't work.

Haven't got enough money for GT4 either. Buying a new BMX then I'm probabaly saving up for a Drum Kit or a new Bass Amp.

So I don't really care about GT4 anymore.
