check ebay or amazon.

I got one from ebay (£7 inc postage) and a Logitech Formula Forgce GP wheel/pedals.

Thouroughly recommend the wheel its wicked, got mine from www.ebuyer.com.

GPL is bloody difficult though, v steep learning curve.

Says "in stock" and just ordered mine. Free delivery to the UK too - so for £4.99 its cracking value. Better than eBay as I have been looking for this....

Got mine this morning too.

I'm also very pleased that the Logitech Driving Force Wheel for the PS2 also works a treat on the PC. Took a while to figure out the force feedback but then again I'm not one for reading the readmes! (Clue: Look in readme11.txt)

Now, can anyone tell me why the game crashes so often?

Have you got all the relevant patches? Should be 1.2.0.2 (includes the fast cpu patch)

For above patches go here and click on the All-in-one patch that gives you the necessary updates (for better graphics support, support for faster processers etc...)

Excellent, now if you need car updates you can either go here - www.kotr.de/GPL/

Or download the 2004 demo from here www.bhmotorsports.com/GPL/downloads/619 (to a different install directory and copy the cars folder across.)

Tracks are from the link on my previous posting, although with a main forum down at the moment (RSC) some links aren't working but RSC will be back on a new server very soon.

You can always see here for other things or updated links/new tracks or new.

Welcome to the fold guys .

Do any of you newbies fancy an online race tonight in VROC?

How about 7pm in the Pistonheads room (password is piston) and start practising some easy tracks - Monza, Silverstone, Watkins Glen

I've also just got my copy, but haven't installed it yet. Just wondering if my PS2 logitec GT Pro wheel will work with GPL or will I have to buy a new wheel?

From my experience earlier today, there's a good chance the wheel will work, assuming it has a USB connector. The first thing to do is to plug it in and see if Windows will see a new device.

If so, head off to www.wingmanteam.com and download the Logitech Gaming Software (also called Logitech Profiler). It's a tool for setting up your wheel with profiles for different games, and for adjusting and testing various settings.

Note that I have to run this and load my GPL profile before starting the game.

Pity you couldn't make it Paul - we had a Monza-fest! Even joined a few VROC open races
