For those experienced flight simmers out there ,you will probably know about this little 'bug' in the FS2004 (FS9) programme.......but for those who don't

Select Stockton Municipal Airport in Missouri USA (airport ident M03).....fly SE for a few miles to the edge of the waterfalls/lake and......you find the biggest bloody hole you will ever see!

12,000ft cliffs !

for extra fun ,fly the 'Extra' to the lip , flip the aircraft inverted then pull stick back and dive the whole 12,000ft to the bottom .....level out and explore the chasm........if you are clever like me you can actually land on the bit of ground mid-point in the hole.........

otherwise try flying down the hole in the 747-400 (cumbersome beast!)......and get out again

or if you've got add-on aircraft like the Tornado have a blast around in full 'burner......it's BIG enough

the Jet Ranger is good when you are hovering above the lip .....not recommended if you suffer from vertigo!

Bloody hell! That was a riot. I lost the Lear on final, 100 yards from the beach, stalled with 8 degrees flap and the air brakes out. I wasn't watching the IAS.
Then I tried it with the 747: I got in and out but when I went around I pulled the wings off. Why do they use a sound file that seems to be someone dropping a pile of scaffolding for that?!

Yeehaa!!

Booting it up on the desktop as we speak..

I've been learning to fly the Jetranger this week. From looking at heli sim forums the trick is to set up the sensativities and nullzone (full and no nullzones) and it starts to make sense.

I started getting arrogant and have found an offshore oil platform to play with
