Trouble is even if you pass every test first time, there's still a lot to work through before you unlock the 'Ring.
On the one hand it does enable you to learn the physics of the game so you can get good lap times when you do get to the ring. On the other if you are desperate, I'm pretty sure there are codes or downloads available to unlock it straight away.

)Hmmm not sure if the village I live in is ready for Xbox live. It doesn't have broadband and it generally takes a week and a half to get on't tinternet as they say.
I've found a 'cheatcode' which claims to unlock all cars and tracks but it seems a shame to use it when I only want to short circuit to one track.
Incidently the code is Nosliw entered as the drivers name - anyone know if this works...

Personally I would enjoy the 2/3 weeks of gameplay to get the 'ring unlocked. It gets you to use every car and every track. You do short sections of the 'ring as you progress, but it's only the final level that has the complete circuit.
Oh, and try to do the whole game at 'Silver' level to get the Porsche GT1 - awesome car. Don't bother with Gold (Merc useless) and Platinum will drive you insane!

Had the game for ages, but never quite managed to get platinum in evertything, wanted to try the speed 12, but the cheat does not work I found.
Great game though, the F50 and the Porsche GT1 are beautifully handling cars. The Zonda and the Konigseggggggggg sound awesome and the 993 GT2 is made for powerslide heaven.

I've managed to get all Gold and Platinums apart from 2 remaining silvers and that started to drive me mad...there is no cheat to unlock all cars except if you downloaded somebody elses Game Save and FTP'd it to the XBox (XBox must be chipped to do this)....that's what I did in the end. The Speed 12 incredibly fast and handles like it is on rails
