Hi all

It was my 30th at the weekend and I got given a slimeline PS2 with Goldeneye:Rogue Agent.

Now, one of the best games of all time IMO was Goldeneye on the N64 by RARE but since EA have got the Bond license all of the games have been a pile of toss.
I bought the The World Is Not Enough on the 64 too so should have been forewarned for this new title.

In the game you can shoot near someone and they fall over dead.

So if you have seen the advert and are thinking of buying it my advice is - don't bother.

On the bright side though - I got Killzone and this is amazing and what Goldeneye: Rogue Agent should have been, and is the closest thing to HALO I've played on the PS2.

So does anyone else think the same about it as me?

Sorry if you're expecting it for Chrimbo!

Its much better on the GameCube then...

Not as good as the original GoldenEye (which is Time Splitters 2 on the PS2 incidentally) but still pretty good...

I've just done a bit of googlin' and found out that TimeSplitters 3: Future Perfect is in the pipeline.

Have Rare, now being owned MS, actually released anything for the XBox yet?

They were an absolute pinnacle of perfection on the N64 and since being acquired seem to have done nothing...

I'm probably not the best person to ask - I've just got dragged into the 000's, and have been clinging onto my 64!

Its funny how my console buying stopped around the same time as the missus moving in!
