Problem with GTA:SA

I've just got to San Fierro and have found the driving school. However when I go in there is nothing to do. There is a woman and a guy standing around and when you go to them the woman tells me that I am to skinny? Do i need to be a lardbucket to take driving lessons? or is there another way? Also, where is the flying school?

There should be a tv screen somewhere in the room with a red mission marker by it. You do all your tests at the tv screen. No interaction with other people is required.

That woman is one of the girlfriends you can get (if you're a fatty!).

The flying school is not optional, so you will have to do it once you get to a certain point in the game unlike the driving school.

You won't be able to do anything in the driving school until you've passed a certain mission (I foget which one exactly). You'll get a phone call telling you to brush up on your driving skills, or something like that. Then you can actually do the lessons. I lost my rag with it on the Handbrake turn parking thing.

If you want to do the Wang Cars missions, you'll need to complete all the driving schools (Boat, Plane, Car and Bike). Bike and boat are really very easy, plane ones are an absolute swine and there are a couple of really difficult car ones too.

The plane school is on the Las Venturas island, right at the top (Verdant Meadows).

whats the Bar for? can't even get a beer?
how do I get into the airport? the ticket machine is out of order, and standing on a car, I still cant jump the fence. Is there another airport I havent found?

To get into the airport go to the entrance with the gatehouse. It will say that you cannot get in without a pilots licence. Park the car against the gatehouse and use that to jump over - there is a gap in the fence on the roof of the gatehouse.

You can play pool in the bar, for money!

Get a taller vehicle to get into the airports. Best is to get the car transporter, park the ramp facing the wall and then drive your weapon of choice up the dukes of hazard style ramp!

There is a point on the airport perimiter (on the first island) where there's only a wall, with no fence above it.

You need to unlock the other islands to use planes really, othewise you get a 4 star wanted and a spanking.

The car school does take a bit of time, the last test being a b1tch. You need to have a good driving skill to do that one.

I found flying school easier with the view from in the plane. It was alot more forgiving

Not true. I have never done the boat school and have completed the Wang Cars missions.

WHERE IS SAID BOAT SCHOOL?

North of SF there is a small piece of land up in the top left of the map. There is a small settlement on the side of the lake up there. If you have a drive around up there you'll see a helipad.
The boat school is in one of the buildings on the near by jetties.
