In view, this game is spectacular - a massive improvement on the first, but where is the BTCC?

Anyone else played it yet? What are your views?

It's got the Seat Leons which I guess are there in lieu of the BTCC.

I bought it for the Pc a bit back and have just completed it, but some of the physics in are truly pants - take cutting the chicane at Donnington for instance, I never knew straight lining the corner resulted in been catapilted round in a spin...

Then there is the AI of the other drivers - they pick the line and stick to it. Thats not so bad with regard to the proper cars, but the single-seaters are a nightmare to work with.

And why have stupid stuff like Rallying and Ice Racing? It truly shocked me how crap the rallying section was and it took me ages to get past that in the career. Considering Codemasters make Colin McRae (which I quite like) how they messed that up I'll never know. Ice racing was "fun", but missed the point IMO.

Still, I played it through to the end and it kept me entertained for weeks (not many other games do that) and all for £14.99 so I'm not complaining too loudly, I just won't get version3

Anyhoo, I completed the game also, entertaining game and mostly enjoyed racing with 20 Seats on Brands indy on hard setting.

Not officially, but you can bet your bottom dollar it's been considered, if not in production already - Codemasters would be made to give up the series now!

This is just put in to stop people cutting the chicane at Donnington. It is extremely annoying when you are in the lead in an online game and some tw@t straight lines the chicane, taking you and 3 others out. It is then a lottery who actually wins the race as you could be facing backwards while the guy who cut across was 10 seconds behind you before the chicane goes and takes the chequered flag.

The physics on 1 (PC version) were the most pants, awful aspect of a game I have possibly ever seen.

Apparently it was playtested on keyboard, and they never tried an analogue controller on it (like joystick or steering wheel)!!

nice
