Absolutely brilliant, with a few minor concerns...
The car physics seemed to have been dumbed down slightly since the original demo, now it seems much harder to spin the car, even with all the aids turned off. Maybe it was because Simulation wasn't selectable from the menu?
The AI cars didn't seem to sit it their environment very well. They did not share the same world-physics as my car. They also had no shadows, no self-shadowing, no environment mapping (that I could see) and were very flat shaded.
Anyway, who gives a sh*t? The last 20mins of gameplay has been superb and the engine sound will be buzzing in my head for the next few hours
On another note, the game is released in about 3 weeks I think, however it's only coming out in Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia as far as I'm aware. The rest of the world will have to wait until January 2005, maybe that's a good thing, I've got too many games to play this xmas!!!
