There is a certain setting on the Escudo Pikes Peak so you can get it to 700 km/h+ on the test course - it begins to take off! Obviously doesn't handle but is fun.

I'll try and find it for you now...

The Escudo has 1824 horsepower when fully upgraded. I have reached a speed of 958.7 miles per hour. To do this set the final gear at zero then take the auto set up down and back up. (when this is done it increases the gear by about twice as much) Take the final back up but not too much in order to get speed faster. Take the downforce front min. and back max. spring rate min on front and back and same with ride height. The TCS and the ATC should be zero. Your car will pull a wheelie and you will hall balls.

Either that's some sort of cheat, or bullshit.

Fastest ever was the Toyota GT1 race car, hit 487kph iirc.

It's not really a cheat, more of a glitch I suppose. Do this at the test course (the massive oval one) and you will pull a wheelie and then accelerate hugely

I got just under 1600km/h with the cheat, although I'm not sure how as when I tried it again a few months ago I found it tough to get over 1000. It's a rather boring use of time - better off racing

Legitamately: slip streaming a pair of Escudos tweaked out gets you the highest top speed. I managed ITRO 340mph.

I'll try and take a screeny next time I'm at my mates (his PS2 we did it on).

The glitch on the Test Course Oval works best in a Toyota GT1 or Nissan R390 GT1. Escudo is probabaly one of the worst to do it with. Just letting you know.

I tryed slipstreaming two Toyota GT1's once. In the last couple of milliseconds before the corner the speed was so high. And then the two cars kind of went through the track and into the glitch world of nothingness. So I had to restart it.
