Good first person shooter?

What would you recommend as a good FPS to tide me over untill Halo 2 is released? Preferably a game which is also great on XBOX live!

I've been busy with Black Hawk Down for months and still can't get bored of it. The graphics (on PC) are realistic enough and online games are a hoot. Don't think it's out there on X-Box though.

I bought it for £10 on play.com for the PS2 - best game I've bought in years!

Can't help you with Desert Storm but I think Rainbow Six is THE accepted online FPS for X-Box.

Been playing Far Cry on the PC for a few days now. It really is stunning to look at and a great game.

Not sure if it's out on X-Box though.

Chronicles of Riddick, although not sure about Xbox Live, is a kick ass FPS...best in ages on the xbox.

Everyone who I've spoken to says Star Wars Battle Front is good on XBOX Live. Bit pants single player though.

Rainbow Six is brilliant, but also look at Counterstrike as well. I have just seen the Limited Edition Halo 2 box and you get a bonus dvd about the making of it. Looks brill!

next month 'Goldeneye: Rogue Agent' is released. It looks good fun, you play the part of a Bond bad-guy trying to rule the criminal world. Definately on my must have list

Well if it is anything as near as good as the original Goldeneye on the N64 then i would expect that game to be pretty amazing. Interesting character play point though, sounds good none the less!
