I don't have either and my torrent is coming down at about 0.5K so I'll let you know in about 3 weeks....

I've read that richard burns is much more sim oriented whereas CM05 is a bit more arcadey...

So I'm getting Burns first!

Well I now have Richard Burns rally, and all I can say is that it's by hard!

After I spent about 100 goes on the left foot braking lesson, I realised that my steering wheel and pedals were set up with both pedals on the same axis, so you can't press both at the same time. Stupid or what!

Anyway, I managed to sort that, but it's still a very very difficult game. The road surface is very uneven and cambers in the road effect the car severely. All that said, it's a good game and good fun, and one you would want to master.

Oh and one cool bit - if it's a muddy rally and you are last on the road, you have to drive through the ruts of all the previous cars. If you are first, you are carving through deep mud!

Same with gravel stages - first on the road is sweeping the way for the rest!

I've got a copy of Rally Trophy somewhere, was given it and never played it.

Anyone tried that, opinons of it?

For those who don't know it looks like a historic rally simulator, Mk1 Escorts, Mini's Alpine A110 types.
