Chipped PS2's

Anyone done this or thinking of it?

A friend of mine brought a PAL chipped PS2 from the Far East for £100 and 70 games for 80p each.


I always thought chipping would shorten the life of the console but at those game prices I think it may be worth it

I've had my ps2 chipped since 2 days after i brought it.

Haven't had any problems with it, however one friend did have with hers, however it was a very early PS2.

Make sure that the people that chip the console know what they are doing.

Its worth while if you know where to get the games from over here!!
