Hi,
Is there no thread on WRC 3? I cannot find one..
Anyway, its brilliant. Such a huge step forward from the previous efforts which I deleted after literally 2 corners of the demo last year I think?
This one, my only critisism is that some of the stages from the same country feel a little the same but on the whole it's great
Especially with my new G27 wheel and home made seat/base

Ive played the demo and it is a huge step forward from the previous 2 poor editions.
Its a shame the cars sound so s
t and nothing like an actual WRC car. They claim to have recorded the real things but I really doubt it unless they left the sounds to the cleaner to sort out!
Il be getting it for xmas though as ive got Forza Horizon to keep me busy now!

I quite liked the handling in the first and second ones, but the ridiculously gruelling single player campaign put me off wanting to buy the second one. I had a go at the demo for WRC3 and the full game in a GAME shop and the handling is just bizarre. Feels really pointy on the turn in and then makes you counter steer to keep the car straight. It just feels so unnatural compared to the older WRC games. A real shame imo.

I've never driven a rally car either, but in WRC3 it feels like the front wheels turn into a corner, then the message gets sent to the back wheels via telegraph before they respond. WRC1 and WRC2, which apparently had a completely different team develop the handling, felt much better. Apart from the Group B cars in WRC1, the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo in particular, were nearly impossible to keep on the course.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
