PH Server Maps for PC

OK, I've had to leave Caspian off as its a 'given' and I'm only allowed 10 vote slots. So maybe an 8 map rotation? Caspian + a couple of B2K maps + 1-2? infantry maps (for the jessies), leaves 3-4.

We can always run one set of maps for a month then tweak them for the 2nd month etc.?

Is this for PS3? Has another server been set up? Between 10 people for 90 days it would be £7.50 each. Should contributors be the only ones listed as Admins? I'll gladly contribute.

Prehaps the mods can update the title for the OP to make it specific once it's figured out what platform it's actually about?.

It's like those race night threads where the person posting just lists a car and a track but doesn't actually tell you what game or what platform they are thinking of

I voted for 8 as you suggested an 8 map rotation and I liked that idea.

I get why metro wasn't included even if I don't agree but why no theran or seine??

I agree with Stagpump on the lack of Tehran Highway though, would love to see this on one of the map rotations.

Otherwise I have no map preferences- in fact my least favourite is probably Caspian (the innevitable Hilltop & Forest 'Rocket pod spamming' syndrome) but as this is 'a given' i'll keep quiet!

I've voted for Firestorm, Oman, & Shaqri for the vehicle heavy maps along with Damavand, and Bazaar (as no Highway) because Like Stagpump I do enjoy a good shootout without wishing I'd brought a large steel umbrella.

My above opinions are made somewhat moot by the fact I'll play whatever maps are on the PH server at the time!

So, what others missing that the collective want included in the 2nd round? Tehran and? (Seine is already in there )

Tehran is the only other map missing (if we are ignoring Metro) isn't it?

Right then all - get your last votes in as I'll update the server when I get home tonight (should all be done by 8 tonight) . I'll put the top 8 on rotation any draws and server admins decision is final. Off to twickenham for the Rugby prem final tomorrow so you'll be stuck with the eight for most of the weekend - so vote soon.

If it's going to be the top 8 I assume that means (as it stands) Firestorm, Nosehair, Kharg, Oman, Wake, and of course Caspian. Then can the last 2 spots go to less airpower focussed maps? If no-one has much preference on these can I put a shout for Tehran Highway, and Damavand? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

That would then be a most awesome map rotation!

Im cool with Damavand but my personal preference would be to have Seine over Tehran, although Tehran does give me the chance to dig out my night camo

Yeah I'm happy with either Seine/Highway. Some of our games on Damavand recently have been a proper laugh though so I'd definately have that one in if pos!
