Forza 4 Credits
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Firstly - Thanks for the few nights racing I've managed to join in on recently - I hope I make an effective back marker for you to pass...
I'm wondering if there is a trick im missing regarding credits though. I'm not on about finding a glitch in the programme or cheating my way into credits, but seeing some of the prizes you guys are offering for a contest got me wondering - i've been playing since release day and managed to get upto about 1.6m credits? my problem being how easily that can be wiped out with 1 interesting car purchase.
Any advice for someone who can make a car look ok-ish although clearly not an artist (compared to the rest of the PH painters), and can make a car go ok-ish round a track (again - defo not a leaderboard tuner), make a few credits? apart from grinding through career / rivals?
Thanks
Lee

Painting and tuning of course. Painting is a nice way for me to earn it as I love the painting side. Most expensive paint is 25,000, cheapest 5k and im averaging 600k - 1 Mill a day with 18 paints and 5 tunes with a few vinyls thrown in.
If you feel your no painter then a nice easy way is rivals mode. Pick your rival and then beat him, then goto the next but ONLY just beat him, then the next and that will rack your money up.

Dave - as mentioned in my first post - against the seasoned racers of PH I make a good backmarker - winning online races is not a strong point of mine LOL
Totlxtc - Cheers for the advice - I'll put a couple of my 'designs' (all home brews - nowhere near good enough for replicas) on the storefront, but they are nothing compared to what you / the other painters on here turn out...

Mate, does not need to be a masterpiece, nor does it need to be something complex. If someone likes it, they will buy it. One of my favorite paints is this:Totlxtc - Cheers for the advice - I'll put a couple of my 'designs' (all home brews - nowhere near good enough for replicas) on the storefront, but they are nothing compared to what you / the other painters on here turn out...

A layer of carbon, couple of Falken logos and then the white to mask out bits. I prefer cars I race with to be like this.
For those of us that are neither a Pablo Picasso in the paintshop, or in the leagues of XTC Tuning in the garage, rivals mode is a good earner. Pick your way through the leaderboards and beat the times by 0.1 seconds or something each time. Can net you between 10,000 and 250,000 credits a pop.
A few weeks ago I was wondering the same thing, other guys have 25mil in the game and I've been struggling to reach 5, these past few nights I've been hitting the rivals section hard and have come away with 4mil for just a few laps, other than that gaining levels (I've just reached 91) and affinity can get you huge bonuses 200k + for anything above level 85 and 50k + for anything over level 5 Affinity,
My storefront hasn't done too badly either, try to be imaginative and think up designs that nobody else has, replicas sell well but people will search out the best ones and stick with that not bothering with any others. Also if someone has the same replica paint and is part of a big group, they'll get their mates to rate yours down to get their own one up the rankings, this happened to me a few weeks ago.

I have a popular storefront but all my stuff is free.
According to my stats, I have made just short of 85 million credits, with 72 of that being online/rivals. The trick is to go into rivals and get into the leaderboard section where you win 100,000cr each time you win. If you find yourself getting a healthy lead on your rival, back off or stop and then cross the line until he is as close as you dare. Keep on repeating this process until you either get bored or run out of talent.
It's a great way to earn cash, and what with the level up and affinity bonuses, you will find yourself rolling in virtual monies! ;D
