Hi

I decided I wanted to tune a car on Forza, I have bought the ForzaTune Iphone app.

I have money. I need some help on what car to tune, I don’t want anything too powerful so was thinking D or C class, and then I would upgrade it to a B or A class.

What are people’s thoughts? Also when I have done the tune can I get some people to try it?

C class i would reccomend a Honda Integra DC5,the Mugen DC5 or the Mugen EP3.

D class the best car ive come accross is the DC2 Integra.

Others may have quicker 4WD cars but i dont really do 4WD myself.

Oh and im not a massive Honda fan, its just these are the fastest 2WD cars i can find!

Hi Jamie,

I use that app too. I helps to give me an idea on where th car should be. I then change things as i go. Normally tyre pressures first. That seems to make a massive difference. Remember it takes two laps on the slower classes to get them properly up to temp. So it'll never be working properly from the off.

If you like add me on live GT: UnluckyTimmeh and i'll go through a few sets ups i've used and modified smile I'm sure carl on here will be along in a mo to give some advice. He really has got it down to a tee.

HTH

Tim.

I can happily test for you James and give you some feedback.

Try the Subaru WRX's 04 and 05 for C Class too. They are a good all purpose lobby car.

Thanks Dan smile

I have decided to go for a Subaru WRX's 04 to B class, I am going to test on Silverstone grand prix track. I should have a tune available later, who wants to test it for me?

Done some testing and gone worst.

I put the car up to B 500PI, drove it round Silverstone in 2:05:874 I used my forzatune app and changed everything it said to and can only manage a 2:07:648.

Anybody got any sugestions?

Have a read of the hints and tips on the tuning page whilst your playing forza it'll say things such as "softening the front suspension will reduce understeer but may promote lift-off oversteer" Or something similar.

Have a play around with all settings until you find something your happy driving, when I play I have a base tune I put on most cars before fettling to get that extra bit of grip or speed etc.

I bet you'll be faster with a car you enjoy driving than one that you don't like. I hope this helps in some way, shape or form thumbup
