So which is the best car? I bet most people will say M5, but for me it has to be the Fairlady Z Z-Tune. Just managed a full powerslide the entire way around the last long corner at Tsukuba in it. Great car!

Hmm, i tried this after reading about your fun and i have to say i am cr@p at powerslides. What is the best way, technique?. I have been just applying the brake untill the car starts to turn then sort of feathering the throttle with abismal results.

Not sure about GT4 drifting but from my experiences from GT3 the easiest way to drift is to carry fast amount of speed into the corner, toss it and hold the brakes down at the same time then just guide the nose and play with the throttle.

That's pretty much how I do it too. I should also mention that I am not very good at them either (I like to think that if I had a steering wheel I would be a master...) and that on the corner at Tsukuba I mentioned I can only do that maybe one in five(10?) times. Just keep trying and you will figure it out after a while. Tsukuba is a good place to learn with the mix of corners it has. Maybe start off with the 240Z, thats a nice docile one.

I'm pretty good at drifting on GT3 dont have GT4P just waiting for GT4, i can drift whole laps properly on GT3. the easiest way to do it is to set your car s that when you brake the back end comes round easilly but make sure u have a car with enough power to carry onthe slide through the high speed corners if u using a low powered car use crap tyres

What you want to do is get the RUF RGT and upgrade it fully (1000bhp+), then set the rear downforce to a minimum, and turn off the driving aids (but of course you will not have had them on to begin with...). If you are really masochistic, put Super Soft rubber on the front and Road on the back! Then play Apricot Hill - the best drifting track in GT3 IMHO.
