GT3 Question....

What do you have to do to win a GT40 in GT3...

I've won most of the endurance races where they seem to dish out most of the exotic stuff and more often than not I get a Polyphony F1 of some type or other.

I've won plenty of other nice cars - Toyota GT1, Le Mans FTO, numerous other Jap racers but no GT40 and I love 'em

Anyone know which race I have to keep winning to get me a GT40...

Ok here's a couple ways to get it
Firstly the GT40 Road Car:
Amateur League - Gran Turismo All Stars, 1 in 4 chance.

GT40 Race Car
Professional League - Gran Turismo World Championship, 1 in 4 chance

And I think that's it really.

What I do when I want to win a car from a race series, I take something to get the races overwith quickly ie F1 car, then save on the 9th race (or 2nd last race), then not bother with the last race, and just reload and repeat until you get the car you want.

I have both GT40's myself. The road car sounds soooo good.

Right, done the recommended raced the series saved the penultimate race etc etc... won the final race 8 times now and only ever got a skyline!

Random car my arse... I hope GT4 doesn't have the same skyline fixation as GT3!

I always try to press and hold the X when the car you want is hi/lo lighted,

of course this could be classified in the same group of tactics that say if you tilt the controller you can go around corners better .

there is a way of getting the gt40 without going through all the 'do the last race till you get it' rule........get a copy of 'action replay 2'.

this worked for me after i got frustrated with not getting it after doing the race several times.......and the bonus is there is a cheat disc for ps1 games free with it.
