The Adventure mode of D3 was absolutely brilliant for trying new classes and doing the dungeon crawling thing. I never got tired of it, loved repeating the game just to try get the right drop.

There is no Adventure mode in this D4, it sucked the soul from me last season I think, and it started so promising!

If they introduce a new adventure mode with Season and set items that affect set builds id return. Until then im staying away!

you should keep up, in season 2 if you have completed the story line on one char you can select skip story when you create a new character, also if you have unlocked all the bonus skill points, paragon points etc on one char you get them automatically when you skip they story so no more boring grindy region crap. there is a season quest line and you still have to do the small class questline (10 mins?)

You also get the full map revealed and half the teleport points, there are a couple of legion points you need to unlock but they give good xp anyways, there are boosts you unlock as you level +20% xp, etc. and the best one is turbo horse mode.

in terms of leveling there are legion events every 25 mins, helltide every 90 mins (for an hour) the new blood event occupys one area of the map and switches each hour, world bosses are on a 3 1/2 timer, dungeons to unlock aspects, nightmare dungeons

they have slashed the XP required to level so alts are a real option and increased drop rates by a fair bit

5 new world bosses and because the way the farmed boss mats work i have found it very easy to get groups to farm bosses

a 2 week winter christmas event is coming

soon there will be a new 25 level uber dungeon event, with each level equal to a 8-10 level nightmare increase

biggest problem at the moment is bag space ... especially if you have alts and bank spare aspect, potions and boss summing mats fill one tab ...

and a loot filter, it desperately needs a loot filter

I have been having a lot of fun with a 100 necro and 90 drood

How many Gems do you need to carry? I only make the ones I need and any that I see in the world (they drop rarely) I just leave them.
I guess so, but I'm a habitual hoarder, anything that might be useful i pick up. It's a struggle to leave the blue stuff on the ground.
dont grind bosses in a group then, i can fill all 5 slots of storage with legendarys and uniques in an hour, 15 mins if i included rares ..

i grind up gems im not using, i have enough dust to make 50 of each of them

I have noticed the amount of loot seems to have increased since launch, but maybe because i do go and do world bosses when i see one up, and ofc helltide/blood harvest drops tons of stuff as you kill tons of mobs. If you could grind them down without returning to town that would help, but my main issue is I want to check everything for stats just in case i've just found a yellow with ideal stats and 2 slots which is ideal for adding an aspect to.... should ignore it all really

I picked this back up whilst on a major come down from a stag do in Ibiza.

The new season has absolutely crushed it, extremely fun to play, very involving and makes you feel powerful as soon as you get going!

I'd suggest anyone who has it jumps back in with a seasonal character, and anyone who has been debating the game, jump into it now.

Skip campaign comes after level 10 i believe, if you dont want to mess around and want to get stuck in - if youve already completed the campaign you can create a character that skips from level 1.

Helltides have changed, item systems have changed, dungeons have changed. I powered through to 68 in no time at all, which is 3 levels higher than I managed first time round! Thoroughly enjoying it, and cant wait to jump back on when next available.
