Ones thing for sure you will be 10’s of thousands in the queue ahead of me if you ordered in June.

I would guess a number of people might balk at paying when their reservation comes up and they have to cough up the full price, so for those who are serious about buying the queue might go faster than anticipated.
Of course, if it becomes the next hot thing for eBay scalpers you can forget that.
Looks pretty good from the early 'pre-reviews' that are emerging. If someone comes out with a decently priced Zen3/RDNA2 notebook before mine comes up in the queue (Q3 supposedly) I'll be going that route instead, though.

Makes me want it even more now, and that’s before seeing any real game play.
I’m just hacked off that they are saying that they have our half life 3 on the back burner to concentrate on the steam deck development and release.

We can but hope, but I strongly suspect that they will be in eBay within days marked up by 1000 percent by the scalpers sadly! Of course, if it becomes the next hot thing for eBay scalpers you can forget that.

My preorder is still showing as Q1 but I’ve just bought a new laptop (ostensibly for work stuff, not gaming) so having second thoughts about dropping more cash on the Steam Deck. That said, I know I’m going to kick myself all around the room if i don’t get it.
I could always drop it on eBay and make a profit…

I’d be surprised if you get yours in Q1, as the official steam deck page mentions how all deliveries have been pushed back due to global supply chain shortages, but it would be ace if you do, so you can tell us all about how ace it is, and make us all go crazy waiting for ours to be delivered!I could always drop it on eBay and make a profit…

Q1 is the already pushed back date - it should have been out back in December. That said, and even though I had my order in within the first minute or so, I'll be very surprised if I get my order email on the 25th.
