Some of the more minor bugs I've found, in the Cessna you don't have any control over the pitch trim, either with the key binding or the mouse on the actual wheel, it just won't move. There is a constant clicking in some aircraft as if a switch is being constantly moved or something trying to deploy but won't.
I have realised what the graphics glitching is when escape is pressed, its cycling through the views very quickly like the wing views etc. and when you hit resume its pot luck which view you end up back in.
This is just like an unfinished game they put out there and ask for the publics help in ironing out all the bugs in it. How much are Microsoft worth again?
If you are interested in my views read the thread from the start ( well from page 11 ) It's difficult to be unhappy with the product on here because you will generally be unpopular if you say it's anything but perfect.I have realised what the graphics glitching is when escape is pressed, its cycling through the views very quickly like the wing views etc. and when you hit resume its pot luck which view you end up back in.

I've been onboard right from the very start of the Alpha so I've seen how the sims progressed. I was also really enjoying buzzing around yesterday evening until the crashes started.
It was stable for me before this update but i'm past wasting hours/ flattening my system ....

Hotfix updated just fine for myself having been prompted by the game to initiate the hotfix update via the Microsoft Store . . . .
Potentially, you are inept . . .
I used it 5 or 6 times this evening, no hint or anything of a hot fix in the game, last time was about 10pm. Its only by chance I opened the store to see if it was there.Potentially, you are inept . . .
The thing is if you are a PC user you are expected to have a degree in computer science to get things working. If you have an X box the most complicated thing you have to do is mash the green button.
I'm pretty convinced MS want office users on ripoff office PC's and gamers on X box and they are prepared to send people round the twist to achieve it.

Download the DCS guide to Spitfires, it has a really useful guide to what's what in the cockpit.

I've still not 100% mastered landing the DCS Spit god knows how much hardware i've left in a burning heap at the end / side of the runway https://www.mudspike.com/chucks-guides-dcs-spitfir...

I have this running on my pc via game pass i use an Xbox controller (latest version & updated) works very well once you adjust the sensitivity settings (plenty of setting on YouTube).
My problem is when i land its almost impossible to taxi, no matter how much rudder or left stick it just doesn't follow where you want to go. On take off i can taxi no problem, this is using the default planes. Game looks beautiful and i haven't noticed any stuttering on max 4k settings.
I have that taxi issue also sometimes, especially the 787. It doesn’t seem to happen all the time though? Seems to be for me when I put on large power settings but it’s hard to tell. I don’t think I get it on the small aircraft as much.

Not great still.
Looks good and things are in the right place but not much works as it should.
It’s good for practicing scans flows and procedures Etc as it looks realistic but the architecture behind it is pretty poor.
You constantly see things that don’t look right so have to look it up and see what’s supposed to happen so in some ways it gets me in the books.
So it’s a bit of a mixed lot really.
I actually practice scans etc in the 787 on the stand but don’t use it much in flight as I think I’d be practicing mistakes.
The game itself is pretty good for revision though and practicing motor skills Etc but at the end of the day all theses sims are games and have their limitations.
Hopefully the qualitywings 787 on FS2020 will be good but that seems to have all gone quiet.
Sorry more questions lol ! Leaving all the systems how’s the core flight model feel ?Looks good and things are in the right place but not much works as it should.

Pretty rubbish. I’d say from all the aircraft on there that I’ve flown or flown similar variants, it’s the least realistic.
The real B787 handles very like a B777. That’s the way Boeing programmed it and why it’s a common type rating. Obviously that might be down to the peripherals I’m using but it’s a long way from being realistic. It does work well as a procedures trainer though as everything looks great in the flightdeck and it’s good for revision in that sense.
Actually I’ve got the DC F14 which I suspect might be even less realistic but I’ve never flown one so can’t be 100% sure.

With the lack of variety, no Bearcats, no Sea Furies a pack of 10x Mustangs, 10x T-6, 10x L-39 and 10x Biplanes in the Reno pack (basically 4 aircraft with different liveries) is still over priced at £50 but apparently it's 86% off, the original price is £350!. I bet it won't ever go "back" on sale for £350 and if it does no one will buy it.
The aircraft are pretty simple too, many switches in the cockpit are non-functional. So I'll wait for a proper P-51 release from A2A.
Have you tried the Mustand in DCS ? The Civvy Stang is free and great fun to blast around in.The aircraft are pretty simple too, many switches in the cockpit are non-functional. So I'll wait for a proper P-51 release from A2A.
Had my first semi serious look at this over the weekend after months and months. It's come on a lot.
Did a couple of flights from Donny to Edinburgh and back in the CJ4.
P3D and FSX the default ATC would give vectors to final but this didnt seem to happen granted I dont really know what i'm doing yet !
Edit to say this was using an IFR plan generated by the sim.

Well after all this time I'm finally sold. Purchased the PMDG 737-600 and it's totally superb just finished a flight from Doncaster to Edinburgh.
My problem was thinking the default aircraft were crap well not thinking they are crap. Little Cessnas are OK but that's it. Not enjoyed a Flight Simulator flight as much since my old Dreamfleet 737-400 days.

Doncaster has been released by a developer.
GSX gives ground loading.
Pro ATC/sr gives decent ATC unless you go down the vatsim route.
Very interested in that atc check it out today.
