If scenes like this really are possible in-game, it's going to be spectacular!

I've noticed the Cheetah and the Comet(I think) look a lot closer to a Testarossa and 911 than ever before. The others seem lifted straight from GTA5

Ocean View Hotel in the background there....
I think it's the psycho in me, but I see a scene like that, and I just wonder how much chaos you could cause by firing wilding into the air... or the pedestrians. Imagine the work that would be needed, to say have all those NPCs smashing into each other driving away, pedestrians scattering etc.

As per the posts around social media, nobody would be running away or scattering, they'd all just turn and whip their phones out and stand like statues recording you. So I don't imagine that takes much computer power?

(I know nothing about game design and obviously my comment is a joke)

It would be funny if they did film you and then you got stars through social media. Or if you were filmed doing something and then got away and later in the game NPCs started spotting you from that video. Etc…

TBH... That's probably pretty likely for a GTA game. If it comes to pass, I'll be gunning for them.

Not even 24hrs and the trailer has racked up over 70m views! Must be breaking YT records.

Bonnie & Clyde type protagonists set in a batsh!t crazy Florida, should be fun!

The white Cheetah (Testarossa) looked cool and the blue 911 looked very close to the real thing.

December 2025 perhaps?
Classic 911 too - freeze the video at the helicopter cam hovering over the intersection (1:07)
Ahh yes see it now. Also noticed a Banshee in the same frame.

Looks like it'll have that "street takeover" nonsense we see in the states. Oh how much would I like to go weapons-free if I encounter one of those in game...

2025 was referenced in the trailer, anyone know if this is aplicable for PC aswell? Getting some rumours coming through that PC release won't be for 18+ months afterwards, and possibly not 'optimised' as well as the console versions.

Female lead, trailer appears to have zero humour , I’ll wait for it to be reduced six months after release

I thought the trailer looked incredible, I cannot wait. cool

Also went from playing 5 on an Xbox 360 40" tv, then Xbox One on a 55" and now a Series X on a 75" tv.

By the release date I’ll probably have something like the below scratchchin

Hisense 4K Laser TV 120L5HTUKA - 120" ALR Screen, Ultra Short Throw Smart, 2700 Lumens, Dolby Vision&Atmos and HDMI2.1 eARC supports VIDAA U6, Apple AirPlay 2 & HomeKit, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video https://amzn.eu/d/0yTADIW

I haven’t played GTA for years but there’s still a dusty PS3 in a cupboard somewhere, does V still work on that?

Do you not find you can go too big on the tv for games?

We have a 65, and the mrs keeps badgering me to go bigger, I can’t imagine being all that competitive at cod on a huge screen

£3 at CEX. No idea whether the online stuff through PSN would still run now though. https://uk.webuy.com/product-detail?id=50265554102...

What gender were the protagonists in the first GTA game? & No humour? I'd recommend watching the first GTA V trailer again to compare, wasn't much humour in that.

I enjoyed that last GTA so I’ll probably buy this on release day.

Yeah don’t know where that guy is getting the idea that the trailer should have humour. Compared to V and especially IV this was the wackiest trailer: https://youtu.be/vjhKzvhW-fc?si=6qi6ElrNbb1Atf6I (comparison of all 3 trailers).

Shows the big jump in graphics too.
