Typhon with TVR Power Supersports 4.5 engine

Typhon ‘TYP110N’ has just finished an engine re-map at TVR Power and the 4.5 SUPERSPORTS engine is superb. Dom has managed to conjure up 400bhp at the wheels and with even more torque than his Sag! (grab the latest copy of Evo magazine and you will see what I mean).
With 370 ftlbs of torque at the wheels the results are spectacular. The Typhon was quick before the upgrade with a normal straight six engine and only weighing in at 1060 kgs, but the race cars proved that the chassis could easily handle more power. The extra torque is immediately evident and the car pulls strongly through all the gears.
To use Dom’s words its now ‘stupidly fast’ and initial impressions are that with a few more miles on the clock, the results will be even more impressive.
Dom will no doubt be able to explain the technical factors behind the upgrade but all I know is that TYP110N is now a seriously quick car.

Any chance of you entering any of the TVRCC speed championship events?/ The Brighton Speed Trials? Would love to see this car up close and in action. None of the people involved in either will be expectant of anything, we all had to start somewhere ourselves, so everyone is very friendly and ridiculously helpful.
