If I had the money I would buy that, go to pick it up in person and then the first thing I would do is once it had warmed up give it some and peel away. Could you imagine the look on that guys face when the car he had kept in the original wrapping for so long got sold to a lunatic who drives it like a race car.

Having driven one, I can assure you it's not your average Mustang or Sports car. They have appreciated a fair bit recently.
Not that long ago you could pick them up for £40K, when the $ was 2 to the £.

I'd certainly buy one now if I could find one in the right condition.

Would I pay $70k for it? No but that being said this was a very, very rare model and when new cost over $50K it is NOT a run of the mill Mustang. $70k is reasonable for anyone that wants a solid addition to an american car collection
