American Car clubs

Can anyone recommend to me an American Car owners club that I can join for free? My insurance company are insisting that I join one but I don't really want to pay for it if I can help it. I've trawled through the net but nothing so far so I thought I'd ask you lot. x

Not free, but the Mustang Owners Club is recognised by the insurance companies. The £20 membership will save you much more than that on your insurance, plus you get nice bi-monthly magazine and access to a forum full of very knowledgable and helpful people, Club valuations, etc etc

Hi, thanks for that. My car has a MOCGB sticker on the windscreen and I told the girl at the insurance company and she seemed to be happy with that and said she would call me if they wouldn't accept that! lol. I think I will join anyway. Cheers.
