Lewis is a 17-year-old boy from Exmouth in Devon. In December 2007 Lewis was diagnosed with Fabry disease, a progressive disorder leading to kidney failure and sadly, death in adulthood. Alongside Fabry disease, Lewis also suffers from Coeliac disease and has Diabetes and Epilepsy. Lewis’ wish is to ride in a Shelby 1967 Mustang. When Lewis wrote to Starlight he said 'I love cars especially the Mustang, it’s my favourite car above all.’

Lewis’ mother describes her son as a quiet lad, very sensitive, caring and always thinking of other people. He is also very artistic and draws amazing pictures. Lewis has had a tough time at school with children picking on him which has 'knocked his confidence' recently and his wish would give him something to look forward to and feel special for a day. Lewis’ brother Billy also suffers from the same condition and Billy’s wish is to meet the England Rugby Team.

Sorry to hear about the 2 young lads and wish I could do more to help but I live in Northern Ireland so a wee bit far to travel. To help you on your search if you do not have any luck, you could always try the Mustang Owners Club GB as they have a abundunce of members placed all over the UK who I am sure would be very willing to help.
You said that this young lad has a gift for drawing, I would be very interested in getting him to draw a picture of my car and willing to pay him for the pleasure. It's a 2005 Mustang " Eleanor GT500". If there is any interest of him doing this for me then pm me and I will give you my details etc.
