Hi all,
having owned 3 TVR'sand a Corvette Z06 I am getting cold feet and looking around for my next fun car and am now considering a Mustang
Looking through the for sale sites I have come across these two and would welcome your thoughts and opinions

the first one will need brakes (1k GBP) and suspension (1.5-2k GBP) and the second one brakes only as it looks like. If you are used to a z06 and a TVR a stock mustang will feel a bit soft and not sharp enough. 570bhp @ 11.5psi from a non-forged engine is very borderline but is so much fun (I am running close to 550 bhp at a bit lower boost but with other goodies)
A Roush Stage 1 is a cosmetic upgrade so you're paying for a meaner looking car that is no faster. But as it has the stock "4x4" stance, it WILL need lowering and it will need some uprated suspension (around £1200-ish for Roush kit)which is easily fitted. The stock suspension is rocking horse soft.
The second one has quite a lot of miles and some nice mods though privately, you could probably find a similar car for nearer £23k with less miles as many, possibly most of these cars are cherished. The chrome wheels can be a bugger with a tendency to flake on the back rims.
It's hard to be prescriptive about prices which have held very well and have even gone up as the dollar has dropped but you MIGHT get a better deal looking round or even getting a stock GT and modifying it yourself though again, shipping parts can be expensive. Given the cars you've had, I'd say a blower is a must as it's the difference between quick and fast.
REgardless, what you need to check is that the SVA conversion to the brake lights and indicators has been done properly by a recognised conversion specialist and look for a Premium spec with the 4 gauge cluster and interior upgrade ( some are just bare plastic top to tail).
