V8 MUSTANG HIRE IN FLORIDA

I am travelling to Florida in April and am hoping to hire a V8 Mustang or something similar for a few days whilst I am there. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to get the best deals for these type of cars? The only deals I have seen through the main stream advertisements are for 6 cyliinder, slightly sleepier versions of what I am looking for. Many thanks for any advice. Craig.

Most rentals will be base spec V6 models. I've used carhireagency.com a lot when going to the US but there is never any guarantee what you'll get. It will normally only be stated as a certain class of car. Best bit is don't be the first one off the plane and hope all the base cars get booked out and they give you a free upgrade to something better.

I was in Florida Christmas / New Year and hired a bright yellow convertable corvette ZHZ from the Hertz fun car collection which cost £350 for 8 days. Very reasonable price for a great car. They also have mustangs but only the V6 version.
