Ford 289 Piston and Conrod Clock.
Discussion
I made these from a set of old standard Ford 289 pistons and Conrods. I did them for Christmas presents for friends and family and have a couple left over.
The pistons have been cleaned up and had a very fine shot blast to clean off carbon and oil etc. I have then lightly polished the crown and skirts and re fitted the cleaned piston rings. The rod and cap have been again cleaned and shot blasted and then black Zinc passivate coated to stop the cast iron rod going rusty. The clock inserts are brand new quartz clock inserts with a silver chrome bezel. Complete with battery and as new have the tags which need removing from the battery compartment to start the clock.
If anybody is interested msg me and make me an offer.
