Just wanted some advice from some of you guys on this car. Always had Jap crap and will be selling my Noble to fund a purchase of one of these. Just fell in love with the mustangs road presence and sound. V8 all the way man!!!! I love the look of the Dominator(must be manual box) and have a budget of around 30k. There's not many around, literally one on trader for 35k. So my question is is there anywhere i can import these from the US to save myself a few quid or is it best to wait for one coming into UK? They seem to be 10k more than the other mustangs. Is the perf upgrade this much or do companies mark this car up alot? Any tips helpful as hopefully i want to be driving one of these badboys next spring.

The Dominator isn't an official model. It's a model created by Atlantic Sports Cars in Luton, and it's basically a GT with a Cervini's "C series" body kit. If I remember right, ASC did various models with superchargers, uprated suspension etc but you probably find some are fairly standard...and probably slower than stock with all the weight of that plastic wink

If you are looking to import from the states then it is a Cervini's C500 you are looking for, or they are sometimes referred to as "Eleanor".

It's quite difficult "saving yourself a few quid" at present - the exchange rate is around 1.69 on a good day, you have to pay shipping, marine insurance, 10% import duty and 17.5% VAT on the lot come January 1st and the days of $2 to the £ are probably gone forever.

You're probably better off looking at soemthing like a Steeda Screaming Q or Roush Mustang. Failing that, if you can wield a spanner, buy a GT and fit a supercharger and better suspension.
