Folks - seeking some input if possible. I am currently about to replace the two rear tyres on my 2000 GT Mustang (130k miles), having now got app 25k miles out of the existing Dunlop SP Sportmaxx which appear to no longer be available (at least on Blackcircles they aren't). The two front tyres are Dunlop SP Sport 9000 and were replaced recently (so < 5k miles on them).

I am thinking of fitting two Dunlop SP Sport 01, but have not had experience of them before. Any thoughts or recommendations however greatly appreciated for these or other makes. I am not particularly heavy on the right foot, but wet weather handling and road noise are the two main prerequisites of a tyre for me. Annual mileage c 10k.

The Vredestein Ulrac Sessanta did very well in a test in terms of wet handling and road noise. Otherwise there is the trusty Kumhos or there is a Hankook tyre which recently did very well in a German test.

Thanks for the response LuS1fer - went with Dunlop SP Sportmaxx's again on the rear given I have SP9000's on the front - makes sense to keep with the same manufacturer and the fact that the existing Sportmaxx's lasted > 25k. Purchased through Event-tyres this time around and was impressed by the service and immediacy.
