BIG V8 Meet this Sunday @ Runnymede Pleasure Grounds, Egham

A year and a half ago despite the rain, sixty or so Corvettes, Mustangs, Ultima's and TVR's met at the Runnymede Pleasure Grounds less than a mile from the Runnymede roundabout at Junction 13 of the M25.

Since the days are getting brighter and less cold I thought it would make a great place to meet up impromptu each Sunday just for an hour or so maybe? Bit like a pub meet - without the beer!

There's a cafe on site that dishes up good breakfasts from around 9:00am and masses of parking. It's located right next to the river and an ideal location to just stand around and talk cars. There is a small charge for parking but at least the spaces are wide and safe to position your car.

Say 9-9:30, starting this Sunday 26th of April and see how it goes?

I saw this too late for the April meet - I'll have to try and remember to attend the June one, then! I did enjoy the original one a couple of years back, despite the rain.
