Cervini body kitted mustangs........
Discussion
I'm going to be diplomatic here and say it's a matter of taste. Not my cup of tea but then bodykits in general are a trade off between looks and added weight. The Roush doesn't look that much different from a normal GT and to get the Shelby nose, you have to buy a GT500 which weighs considerably more than a GT. You can fit it aftermarket to a GT but it's not cheap.
There are other "standrad kits" like Saleen (my favourite) and the Steeda Screaming Q and a variety of aftermarket kits ranging from subtle to Stevie Wonder big wing fast and furious abominations.
Of the kits, Cervini have a good reputation for quality. I have the Cervini side ducts and they're reasonable quality for what they are although I haven't written home about them yet.

I've got a Cervini Eleanor kitted car and I've never been happier. It's coming to two years of ownership and it's in near perfect condition.
The rear spoiler sits a few mm too high on one side, The side exit exhausts are so tight against the sideskirts that they are hard to clean all around and they sit low, so they scrape speedbumps. Apart from that everything from the durability, to the standard of fit are amazing.
I still can't get over how many heads my car turns. It draws a crowd like almost no other car I know of too. They really are gorgeous motors.
Do yourself a favour and get one ;-)

C300, C350 & C500 just wondered what people thought about these particular cars vs a Rousch / Shelby?
Not a fan myself, but then I like the look of the Mustang GT just as it is. Maybe I'm odd?? LuS1fer said:

The OH knows I've got my eye on a VXR 500 so she knew I'd be interested in this little gem. Wish I'd seen it and been able to find out how it compares to the VXR 500

The VXR500 is a lot heavier than a blown Mustang GT but maybe lighter than a lardy GT500, even more so wearing a bodykit.
I do like the looks of the Mustang, you have a very nice example, but the performance figures of the VXR 500 are very attracting. 0-100mph in 8.5 secs.shamrock said:

I wouldn't rely on this contribution by "unknown" http://www.fastestlaps.com/car47dcc0302a077.html
Even the M5 is 10.0
Not that I'm even remotely trying to dissuade you. I'd love a VXR500 as well but not instead of my Mustang and you would have to change the suspension on the Mustang to make it handle properly.

The Z06 is also on my shortlist. I shall ask over at the Monaro forum what the true stats for the VXR 500 are before ruling it out.
Thanks for the help.
