My '94 convertible got bitten by a handle sticking out of the side of a lorry when lanes narrowed in tight traffic and has an 8" rip just above the front passenger wheel. Anyone have advice on whether I should trust to the insurer's recommended bodyshop (it looked a bit chaotic to me) or look for someone who knows Mustangs (I'm in the Reading area)? I suspect it'll need a new wing but the inner wheelarch cover looks ok.

thanks for any suggestions
Nick

Ouch! Looks nasty.

Give Roy a call at the Mustang Workshop. Not too far from you, in Hook, Hampshire.

Thanks guys

I appreciate both the suggestions. I'll give them a shout and see how long their respective work queue's are.

I saw that in there when I went to see them a couple of weeks ago. I didn't realise it was yours until TT put some pictures up.

Thanks everyine for all the recommendations. I popped down to see Surrey Mustangs a couple of weekends back, and am now waiting for insurance assessors to quit mucking me about furious so we can proceed.

I'll post a pic of the repair when it's done

cheers
Nick
